In The Desert Of Seth

David Bowie: Warszawa

At this time of the year, I always pull out certain musical works of alchemy that get me in tune with the coming season. And one of those works is the album from which the following track is taken. For some reason, I’m always in the mood for David Bowie in autumn, and this is from his “Berlin” period in the late 1970s, when he washed his system clean of drugs and teamed up with Brian Eno to find a new sound. Just imagine sitting on a park bench and watching the autumn leaves fall…while thinking of something you miss.
