In The Desert Of Seth

By G. B. Marian

Glossary: Heka

“Activation of the spirit,” “divine speech” or “spiritual action”; using creative, dramatic and ritualized self-expression to make things happen with one’s spirit. This term is often simplistically translated to mean “magic,” but it actually includes any sort of interaction with the spirit world, including devotional prayers. It can be used for operative, devotional or initiatory purposes.
