Glossary: Isfet

The opposite of Ma’at; the act of treating others without dignity or respect, and the social, political and spiritual turmoil that results from this. If too much isfet were to happen, the universe would disintegrate and cease to exist. The Gods ensure that this never happens at a cosmic level, but it’s up to human beings to prevent it from happening at an earthly level.
