In The Desert Of Seth

By G. B. Marian

Samhain 2014 (Part 1)

This post was prepared for the Pagan Blog Project on Saturday, November 1, 2014.

Our kitchen on All Hallows’ Eve, the first night of Samhain.

Our ancestor shrine; we kept the candles lit from about 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Our household Gods, Seth-Typhon and Ishtar, accompanied by a pig and a cat.

Our apotropaic carving for Stingy Jack, who kept us safe during the night.
